What can I scan?+
Any physical product: appliances, electronics, gadgets, tools, packaged goods, personal care items, and more. One clear photo of the product or its label works best.
Does it work offline?+
No. Scans are analyzed by our cloud service, so you need an internet connection to create a new scan. Your saved library is available offline.
Is my photo stored anywhere?+
The photo is sent to our service to generate your guide and is stored only as long as needed to produce the result. Your scan record (the photo and the guide) lives on your device.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, then select How To Use and choose Cancel Subscription.
I got a wrong or low-confidence result. What should I do?+
Retake the photo with the product's label or logo more visible, or add a short note about what it is before submitting. You can redo a scan from the scan detail screen.
Can I use it without making an account?+
Yes. How To Use does not require an account. Your scans are stored on your device and your subscription (if any) is tied to your Apple ID.
How do I delete my data?+
Every scan is stored locally on your device. Delete individual scans from your library, or remove all data by uninstalling the app.
